How it works

1. Order Apps

Pick a domain and the Apps product in the order form. After payment, we prepare the environment and let you know.

2. Deploy your application

Upload the code with Git and run the process with pm2.

3. The app runs on your domain

The domain connects to the running application and we issue and renew the HTTPS certificate automatically.

When to choose Apps

Classic web hosting	PHP websites, WordPress, static websites, email, and databases in the standard hosting mode.
Apps	One Node.js or Python application on your own domain. Classic web hosting for other domains stays included.
Managed VPS	More performance, multiple concurrent applications, individual server changes, custom server services, or more demanding workloads.

What it is not

Apps is not a full VPS with root access and it is not meant for arbitrary system changes, GPU workloads, or demanding long-running jobs. The current version supports Node.js and Python, and more runtimes may be added later. If you need full control over the server or multiple concurrent applications, choose Managed VPS.

FAQ

Do I need web hosting with you first?

No. You order Apps on its own and classic web hosting is included. If you already have web hosting with us, you can activate the application environment at a lower price as an add-on to web hosting.

How many applications can run on Apps?

In the current version, expect one application for one domain. Multiple domains pointing to the same application or multiple applications on different ports are not supported yet.

Can I host an application created with AI?

Yes, if it is a Node.js or Python application that can be started with pm2 and serves HTTP traffic on the domain.

How much does it cost?

Apps costs CZK 298 excl. VAT per month. The price includes the application environment and classic web hosting with email and MySQL databases. Domain registration or transfer is charged separately according to the domain price list.
