Your classic web hosting stays in place. For each domain on the hosting account, you choose whether it runs as a PHP website or as an application.

No VPS administration

You do not need to manage your own server, server updates, or separate server administration. We handle the server side.

For AI apps and MVPs

Useful for prototypes, internal tools, small backends, APIs, and applications created with AI tools.

How it works

1. Activate the add-on

Enable Application Hosting in administration for an existing web hosting account for CZK 199 excl. VAT per month. The add-on is activated for the whole hosting account.

2. Deploy your application

Upload the application with Git, install dependencies with npm or pip, and run the process with pm2.

3. Switch the domain

Switch the selected domain from PHP mode to Application Hosting. The domain connects to the running application and HTTPS stays included.

When to choose Application Hosting

Classic web hosting	PHP websites, WordPress, static websites, email, and databases in the standard hosting mode.
Application Hosting	One Node.js or Python application for one domain. Other domains on the same hosting account can stay in PHP mode.
Managed VPS	More performance, multiple concurrent applications, individual server changes, custom server services, or more demanding workloads.

What you get

Activation for the whole hosting

The add-on is enabled once for the hosting account. The website mode is then configured per domain.

Domain-level mode choice

Each domain on the hosting account can run either as a classic PHP website or as Application Hosting.

Git, npm, pip, and pm2

Deployment follows a common developer workflow: Git for code, npm or pip for dependencies, and pm2 for running the application.

Database and HTTPS

The application can use a hosting database through an internal IP address. HTTPS is included, just like for PHP domains.

What it is not

Application Hosting is not a full VPS with root access and it is not meant for arbitrary system changes, GPU workloads, or demanding long-running jobs. The current version supports Node.js and Python. More runtimes may be added later. If you need full control over the server or multiple concurrent applications, choose Managed VPS.

FAQ

Where do I activate the service?

For now, in administration on an existing hosting account. If you do not have hosting with us yet, first order web hosting and then activate Application Hosting in administration.

Can one hosting account run multiple applications?

In the current version, expect one application for one domain. Multiple domains pointing to the same application or multiple applications on different ports are not supported yet.

Can other domains keep running in PHP?

Yes. Application Hosting is activated for the whole hosting account, but the mode is configured per domain. One domain can run as an application while other domains on the same hosting account stay in PHP mode.
