GD (GD Graphic Library, Graphic Draw) is a graphics software for dynamic image manipulation. It is a part of PHP that allows you to generate or edit images, perhaps to create graphs. However, it is quite demanding on the server's processor and therefore should only be used when necessary. To generate and edit images you can also use the so-called IMgaick, which our hosting also provides.
GD can create images composed of lines, text, arcs, text, other images and multiple colors. Version 2.0 also supports truecolor images, afla channels, resampling and other features.
The GD library supports many programming languages including C, PHP, Python, Perl, Tcl, Luca, Pascal, Ruby and others.
