If a stranger is creating your site, they will need two connections from you. You can get both in Administration
1. FTP connection
In Administration, click on My domains → select domain → FTP. Create a new FTP account there. This will give you 3 pieces of information to pass on to the person who creates the site: FTP login, FTP password and FTP server (host).
2. MySQL database
In Administration, click on My Domains → select domain → MySQL. Create a new database there. This will give you 4 pieces of information to pass on to the person who creates the site:
- User
- database name
- password
- server (always localhost)
The programmer may still want access to the database administration. This is for example Adminer or phpMyAdmin. A link to both programs can be found under the list of databases.
